One crew. Two companies. Most of Europe.
Rack-Install is the name for a group of two installation companies run by the same people: Storage Systems Installation Ltd in the UK and Storage Solution ProfInstal SRL in Romania.
How it started
Storage Solution ProfInstal SRL was set up in Romania in 2019 to employ installers at home, and Storage Systems Installation Ltd followed in the UK in 2020. The people behind both had been installing racking for the manufacturers for years before that. Same crew, same supervisors, two legal entities so that work on either side of the Channel is done properly.
Most of the crew are Romanian, many with settled status in the UK. Teams are built around supervisors who have been with us for years, and they work the same whether the site is in Leicestershire or Limburg.
What we believe about installation
Racking installation is treated as the cheap bit at the end of the project. We think it is the bit that decides whether the design works. A manufacturer can engineer a perfect system and an integrator can commission flawless automation, and if the uprights are out of plumb neither of them gets the credit they deserve.
So we take it seriously. We train for it, we measure it, we write it down. And we are straight with people. If a floor will not take the design, if a delivery is going to be short, if a programme is not realistic, you hear it from us early, over a cup of tea or a glass of țuică depending which office you are in.

- Storage Solution ProfInstal SRL
Trade Register J2019000117162, CUI RO40410905. Întorsura, Dolj. The contracting and employing entity for work in Romania and across the EU, with the posted-worker paperwork that goes with it.
- Rack-Install
The name the group trades under, and the one domain for both. Whichever company signs the contract, the same management and the same supervisors run the job.
Where we have worked
Across the UK from Haverfordwest to Doncaster to Scotland, and on the continent in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and beyond. Distribution centres, cold stores, pharmaceutical warehouses, automotive and battery plants, retail RDCs, parcel hubs.
Who we have worked with
The largest racking manufacturers in Europe, usually alongside the automation integrator and the principal contractor. We are on their approved installer lists and we go through their vetting year after year. We do not name clients on a website. Ask and we will put you in touch with people who have used us.
